Water is too important.
I'm glad that you got your bath! :-)
I like Mary Cassatt, too. I went to the website, but didn't see all of the paintings, just some. I do know the one that you have, btw, and have always liked it.
Her work is so varied...her early impressionist work, later impressionist work, her realism, Japanese-style, and I don't know what you'd call it, but here 'flatter' work. More, I don't know, cartoony?
Some that I just looked at that I liked were:
The woman having tea, her classic 'The Child's Bath', 'Mother Playing w/ Her Child.' etc.
I admire one of her early impressionist works, which is only partly impressionist. It's of her mother...who modeled for it...reading. It's called, 'Reading Le Figaro.' While the colors and background are blah, the face of the mother is pretty amazingly done.
There are several that I really like, but I'd have to find them on the site. Thanks for the link!
I've heard some scary stories about power bills in Tx., since this horrible weather. I hope that your bill will be nothing like those!
It got hot on Monday, and stayed warm later than it's been. Is this a sign of the changing seasons? I am afraid that we'll have a horribly hot summer, but it was still nice to have warmer weather today.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
