When we were kids, My we got a doll every Christmas, and my dm made an entire wardrobe for the dolls. Santa surprised one year with a record player and the son "Wake Up Little Susie" which is still favorite of mine. As we got older, dm made us clothes and quilts. So..it is very hard to say. One Christmas, she made me a most beautiful cat quick. She had made one for the owner of a quilting store in town. I admired it so much that she surprised me with one of my own. Christmas was just such a wonderful time for all of us that it is hard to pick one gift.
We don't really do much for St. Patrick's Day even though we have some Irish blood in the family. When the f=dds were small, we always wore something green, and I might have a green dessert, but that is about it.
