Yes, popsicles for hot days. Actually, when it gets hot, and stays there, I should put ingredients on my shopping list to make some. I love that you can start with juice, or cook fresh fruit. :-)
That sounds like what I go through with Dh, and his weight loss.
Believe it or not, sandwiches may be the key. I got him the 6 loaves of bread at the beginning of the month (?) and keep encouraging him to have as many sandwiches as he wants every day.
I keep offering him various sandwich fillings, but he's currently addicted to tuna or chicken sandwiches. I also got him mayonnaise, which he's going through pretty quickly, but they only come in small jars.
He's been eating those, and sometimes finishing with a Sunbutter (just think peanut butter.) sandwich for dessert! Mind you, he isn't like you, he will put on a bit of raspberry jam about half the time, or a drizzle of honey.
If it's not dessert, he's started having the Sunbutter as a savory sandwich to take his pills with.
I am not sure, but it looks like he's put on a couple of pounds! I'm going to have to get more bread...and mayo, and probably chicken/tuna. What have I started? :-)
I think that once he's got these out of his system a little, he will want to branch out to grilled or not grilled cheese sandwiches, etc. I will try to make meatloaf monthly, so that he can have the leftovers for sandwiches...if I don't get to it first, lol! Maybe make 2!
Maybe eat more sandwiches?
