How neat to have those birds there!

That's interesting about the droppings. We know some of our wild mammals by dropping. Bear...obvious, coyote - full of manzanita berries, Deer - pellets, etc.

I was thinking the same, while reading, that maybe they aren't native.

I hate falling asleep, then waking up to it being hot...especially if the heater is still on! It sounds like you acted quickly, though!

Yes, I love it when yucca's flower!! And, so do hummingbirds! And, moths. :-)

I hope that the succulents improve. it sounds like they are trying!

The tap lights are very handy, and yes, the batteries do last a while in them, under normal use.

I have no idea why the vultures were so low, but it was a great sight. As long as all of the domestics are accounted for, I can just enjoy the sight! :-)
