SO waiting on him to call me back to see what we can set up in April on 1 of 3 days at 2pm.
Before that I was talking to HomeAgain.com Charlie's Microchip lost dog folks. I had to order him a new name tag in Gold as the other color was PINK.... his current one is Red.
Before them I called Chewy and set up Autoship for Charlie's HeartGuard - two deliveries the first at the end of April six month tabs. The second mid Oct for 6 months following. That took care of 2021.
Autoship also for his Bravecto Blue in every three months. April, July, Oct and Jan.
I was able to get decent discounts for my first autoships. So this will take care of him for both RX's. YEAH!
After I set the autoships up I made sure I complained about the uptick in all their prices.
I had to buy 5 items 2 were for 2 each the rest 1 ea. It cost me $87.81. I am not a happy camper.
Usually if I buy that group of items it costs closer to $50.
On top of that I ended up buying wild bird seed for a bag half the size I normally buy. It still costs me less then buying twice that much at Chewy. ARRRRGH!!!!
Luckily the Chewy & Amazon orders arrive Monday.
Not sure when Charlie's new name tag will arrive. Soon I hope.
I am grateful that this is his 2nd annual appointment and he won't need every shot. At least buying his meds at Chewy saved me a good amount considering what the vet charges.
So I am caught up on all Charlie's meds till next year. And spread out over a year the amounts won't kill my pet budget.
I always have 3 bags of Charlie's Dry food on hand and as soon as I open one up I buy a replacement.
Not having a car means I stock - alot. Not just dog & cat food but Parrot & wildbird food.
No car... means I have to order online. So far it all works perfectly. It was a close call when Covid first appeared. Thus keeping lots on hand.
Anyway - haven't heard back from Boy re Charlie's appointment time.
But the prices are infuriating. No matter where I buy stuff.
Hope your your next shopping day is a good one.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
