I'm hoping that we will get back to meals here, with all of them.
We were talking today about bbq's, and solar cooked meals, as a whole family, in the summer. We used to bbq more, but it's not been safe to do even that during fire season - they say not to if you use wood or charcoal. That's why we're thinking of having solar cooked meals, since they are so much safer once the fire danger's high. Plus, it could come in handy if we have a problem with electricity, or something of that nature.
Ds took a class at our local co-op over a decade ago, which was how to cook with a solar cooker. You can make chicken, vegetables, bread, cakes, casseroles, soups, etc. Anyway, I always loved it when he came by to visit and eat. So, I know how happy it must make you to have Kara and Josh there!
