To begin, it's not an air filter problem with my generator. Ds will have to call the company on Monday to talk mother boards. Hopefully, it's still not anything too bad, even though I was hoping for the air filter option.
So, I'm still on and off, and on these hotter days, more off than on. It was 93 yesterday. It stayed at a good temperature until about midnight, but then began getting cold. It's 33 this morning.
Also, someone was in the old house on Friday night/early Saturday morning. It's a longish story, I'll see if I can make it less long.
Ds is building his deck today, and went to get bolts in the lab. When he got there, he saw that things outside had been gone through, indoor things were outside, and the back door was open.
We don't know what was taken but there were items lined up, probably to be gotten later, which Ds brought up to us. My fishing tackle box, a small work torch, etc.
Now, about my zone protectors, which should have been up, and were...but not then.
I originally bought an extended warranty with them, which means that I can go to the company with any problems, even now.
There are 4 sensors...which are what sit outside to detect motion. One was going off all the time, so it is defective. To test them before returning the 1 sensor, I had to have all 3 in my hands.
Ds can put something up, or take it down, but then he goes to work, or goes and gets another load of lumber so can't drive here, etc. No big deal, right? It can be done in a few days. Apparently not.
There were no sensors up when whoever-it-was, was down there.
Also, my fence was still down, which I didn't know. When they took the equipment in to get the trees off of the house, the fence had to be moved. So, no barriers, either.
Ds was getting someone that he is going to work with to help him, but that person won't start until next week. When this happened, Ds worked on it himself, even though I don't want him to hurt his back, or not get home. It was dark, he missed lunch and dinner...ack! But, he managed it by himself anyway.
What I did was replace the problem detector with another one, which left two. We put one by the gate down at the house, and one by the deck at the old house, by our old bedroom window, where they seemed to spend the most time stacking things.
Once I'm sent a 4th, I can put it down there also.
Well, because I'm likely to spend the day without internet access, I'm going to try to make as many posts as I can now.
Have a relaxing Sunday!
