Picture a Golden book for kids. What they do is cut the spine off, and make 3 rectangular holes along the spine side. Then, they put lined paper, say 4 pieces, between each page of the story, leaving the story pages intact and in order. Then, they put a metal ring binding through the holes.
The woman who made this particular book that I'm using for all of my info, also put various card stock type papers between the book pages and the blank lined pages.
I like that because I can find my sections by the color/pattern of them, and am debating on using those colored dividers to write the sections on.
She did a good job, because the color/pattern of the divider papers go well with the page next to it. So, let's say that the picture on the page has a lot of people wearing orange. She made the facing divider page in orange. I like things that are artistically pleasing to the eye.
Anyway, that gives you an idea of the size, too...Golden Book size, and just a little thicker than one.
Yes, medicine bottles take way too much room.
What I do with all but one medication, is take the original label off if it will come off - sometimes it's on a box and I can just cut it off, and put that in my purse, in a bag with the medication, or in my little medication holder. At least it's a name and the name of the medication. Hopefully, that's good enough, and will prevent us from being hassled.
