I would call my dogs "medium" but evidently one dog harness maker doesn't....I ordered two new harnesses and when they arrived (both medium) there was absolutely no way they would fit my dogs! The company doesn't do exchanges so they said they would refund my money, I could donate the product I had received and order new ones. So I did that. I had to measure the girls' chests this time and they are both around 27 inches...which turned out to be size 2XL!!!!! I was shocked. They came really quickly and they look huge. I haven't tried them on the girls because I wanted to wait for the new tags I ordered to come. But, I am hoping they just look too large and they aren't really. I'll have to sew a seam in them if they are too big.
The girls remind me every morning to feed the birds and they won't leave me alone about it until I do!! This morning I really cracked up because some birds flew into the tree while I was putting the seed in the old bird bath and the girls ran to the tree, looking up and whimpering and barking and it was like they were telling them their food was ready! LOL! We must have a bird nest in the wisteria and the girls keep going over there and looking up. Sometimes I hear the mom fluttering or flying away from it when the girls do that! I kept the planter hanging in the wisteria for any bird that wanted it as a nest, but it hasn't been used, so they must be up in the branches. DH said he was going to knock it down and I cried, "No!!" I love that we have a nest....I would love to be home to dozens of birds raising their babies ere and feeling safe! The birds are often out on the grass and don't budge when the dogs come out until and unless Missy runs towards them!
It's been a bit uneventful here. Same old, same old. Which I guess is good!
