And, it's a good thought; to measure Tilde. She hasn't worn a harness since the 1st year that we got her. I'd like her to have one again, but I really do need to measure her again, it's been so long.
I hope that they fit, without you having to alter them.
That's so funny about them reminding you to feed the birds!
It would be so cool if you have a bird nesting!
I agree. I would love to have birds raising babies up here!
In the old house, we had babies born in the trees around the house, and could watch the parents raising some of them. Crows were one, and as the baby got older, he/she would dog the parents to feed them, even when they were old enough not to need feeding anymore. They would fly after them!
Also, robins, blue jays, turkeys, winter wrens, juncos, and probably others that I didn't see/hear! The quail, woodpeckers, and so forth had to have their babies somewhere!
One of my favorite sightings, was a baby spotted owl one year. It flew down to the road. This was pre-digital cameras for me, so I took my zoom lens and took photos, all the while keeping an eye on mom. They aren't small birds, and I worried that mom would decide that I was harming the baby. It was fine in the end, and we got to really, really see the big baby close up!
I have uneventful weeks, but yes, same old same old is better than a lot of the alternatives. I only wish, some weeks, that I could have accomplished more, or not been a little on the bored side. Then, I think of stressful weeks, and feel better about the other weeks!
Have a wonderful week, and stay cool if it gets hot there like it's been here!
