I have a new box going to her with the Phillipines tee shirt and a DR Who DVD: "The return of DR Mysterio." Plus that deck of cards so we can do math together. And a few other things for fun.
Me, I have finally starting Book # 17 of the Amelia Peabody series. "The Golden One." This book takes place in 1917 during the Great War. My Dads father was a Doughboy and so the story has an underlying interest for me.
Only 4 books to go till the end of the series.
It is always sad to come to the end of book 20 knowing there will never be another.
But this time I have 797 pages of "The Father Brown Stories" to read right at my finger tips. As well as "In Defense of Sanity" The best essays of G.K.Chesterton the author of the Father Brown stories.
Which book should I read first? The Essays book of 67 essays - While he wrote over 5000 of them - or the 53 Father Brown Stories?
