I am currently reading Disaster, Inc. and the forward warns about words being misspelled for the English reader and states that because the main character is Irish, Irish spellings and coloquelisms will be used. It's really cute, ad the author offers up "zzzzzzzs" for those that will miss them. LOL! Anyway, it starts out with a waitress, Marcy, and you think this is going to be important to the story....but it is backdrop for the two main characters to cross paths. Two masked men enter the diner and say it's a robbery. Bunny, our Irish guy, challenges them without even turning from his breakfast...it is uncanny how much he notices without even looking! He says that it isn't really a robbery, is it because one of the guys has on really expensive shoes...as far as the reader can tell, he didn't even turn to look at them!! Anyway, robbery foiled, he leaves the diner to hunt down the guy who stole his belongings during the night while he slept off St. Paddy's Day in Central park. As he is walking car pulls up and a young girl that was in the diner tells him to get in...he does with some persuading and meets Amy. Now both of them are running and hiding from some really powerful people. This is a really, really good book!
