Well, I had excitement this morning. I decided to open the garage for a delivery from the market when I got the text that they'd be here in a minute. The guy pulled up and started bring the bags into the garage. I did this because otherwise I have to get them from the front door, carry through the house from dh's art room to the kitchen....so I just thought it would be easier to open the garage. As he was bringing them up the drive, I heard the door to the house (I thought) open and soon Chelsea and then Missy were by my side and wagging to greet the guy, then they shot out of the garage to the front lawn. The side door from the backyard to the garage was standing wide open. It must not have been closed securely and they knocked it open. The kid helped me and he grabbed Chelsea...I took her back and stuck her in the house then went to find Missy. She'd gone next door again and he had followed her and got her back in our front just I came out of the garage. So I picked her up and almost lost her three times...she is soooooo heavy!!! Whew! My heart is still beating like a base drum!
Last night Chelsea came running outside from the house and something dropped off of her. I looked at it closely and it was a worm. I panicked! I was looking up worms in dogs but couldn't find one that looked like that...so relieved, but still wondering! Then a bit later Chelsea and Missy were both working on digging a hole in the flowerbed. I wondered what they were up to and went to check it out. Guess what? Identical worms were in that hole!!! LOL! She probably was doing that yesterday and in cleaning her feet found one and ran outside with it where it dropped from her....maybe her mouth? LOL! I was relieved though!
I love it that your froggies are doing so well!!!!
I'm glad for the warmer weather, but I wish it would stay like this and not get hotter!!!
One of Josh's teachers is not on line teaching nor is he in the classroom. He had a sub on line before school reopened this week and she told the kids she didn't know anything...that no one had told her the circumstances. They returned to classrooms this week for a portion of the day and still no teacher. Kara said when she looks back on it that when they first closed for distance learning he was sharply dressed, usually taught from his classroom and then he started teaching from home...wrinkled shirt. Then he looked like he had barely fallen out of bed before class started. Then he was teaching from his recliner...and now he's gone. She thinks he is probably in a hospital...maybe mental ward. It sounds to me like he just got more and more depressed not being in the classroom with hims kids. I know that is very plausible to me. I just hope he's still alive and gets better.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
