I went over to Kara's yesterday to help her clean up and make presentable her bedroom that she uses to do her tumblers. She has a promotion company that is boosting her exposure and they are coming over to take pictures and video of her and her studio space. Exciting!
On Thursday I took Chelsea in to the vet to check her ears, look at some scaly spots on her chin and back and he gave her antibiotics and salve and a steroid shot. I'm having to do her ears with the flush every other day and the salve twice a day and she's not happy about it. She is eating better, however. She lost weight.
We didn't get your rain. It's been really smokey here and the air quality is horrible. I wish it would rain! It was 112 here day before yesterday and 113 at Kara's...plus her air was worse than ours. The fires are closer to me than her, but my theory is that we are a bit higher elevation and get a breeze and she's more in a depression so it holds it all in.
Tony leaves Tuesday for D.C. He will go to all the branches of the military memorials and Arlington. He had to go back to the doctor about his diahrrea because he still had it, and he was not going to go if he was still having issues.
Did I tell you they gave them shirts and a jacket with Honor Flight printed on them? I got him a Marie shirt but he has to wear the shirts they provided. The are lovely quality....this group for Honor Flight is amazing!
Kara's latest male kitten goes in next week for snip snip. LOL! She keeps telling him it's coming!
Missy cries the whole time I am gone if I go somewhere. I guess she cried while I was at Kara's and then this morning when I went to the store. DH was home. She is used to him being gone and doesn't do it when he is gone. Poor baby! I guess I won't be subbing....even if the vaccine weren't a hurdle.
Yes! My dad called all his brothers and sister and his mom before they moved her into their home every Sunday. Of course, every Sunday was the day for the family to get together, too. Until they started being too far away...we went. After Dad died, mom came here and any family here that could come. I surely miss that. Fortunately I have Kara and Josh on Sundays now.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
