The weather has been delightful here this week. We did have a little rain, but it came at night. That is always good as the rain gets to soak in instead of being dried by the sun. We are supposed to get warmer again, but I don't think we will have too many days of bad heat left. That is better for the marching band kids.
Kenzi got her ProHeart 12 on Thursday and did very well. She will be tested at her annual in February. So far so good, but no Heartgard ever again. the sad thing for me is that I was a big proponent of HG.
Hope things go well with your inspection.
How scary for Tux. I wouldn't have liked that either.
We didn't really use Saturdays and Sundays for calling relatives. We spent a lot of time visiting as everyone was so close. Every Sunday afternoon, my dm's family spent the afternoon at my dgp's farm. Everybody went to church and then headed to the farm. We always stayed until dark, so that was a long time on a Summer afternoon. I loved every minute of it and am so very thankful I have those memories. We were related in one way or other to just about everyone who lived on that road, so we had lots of room for adventure in addition tot he farm land and buildings. We didn't see as much of my df's family as they were a bit more scattered. Two of his four sisters lived out of state, none of his three brothers did. His dm died when he was six, and my dgf died when I was six. In addition, his four older siblings were much older, so some of my cousins were married when I was just a kid. We did get together on occasion, but not as often.By the way, my dm had ten siblings, but two passed very young, and my df had twelve siblings, but four do them died during the Spanish Flu epidemic before my df was even born.
We had good week, and we pray that our weather stays pleasant.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
