I was always told I could refuse to driver to accept
or keep for myself - Don't need it
Or Share with neighbors.
I finally reached a cust service rep Manager.
I had to repeat my tale 3 times. The result is:
1 - I can accept the box, which means I won't have to sit on my front porch until UPS delivers the item in order to refuse the item. The driver can put it on the porch and I don't have to sit outside waiting. Whew!
(Charlie has gotten out of the habit of barking at some of the drivers, i.e., UPS and even Fedex. Some drive quieter then others. I know bizarre.)
2) That a refund from Amazon is already being transferred to my checking account today. This will replace the $34 charge for the box of 2 sets of 3.
3) They are happy I will distribute these items to my neighbors.
The manager was very nice but disturbed at the wording on the email with the "threat" of a delayed refund unless I "verbally refused" to the UPS driver.
UPS drivers "do NOT knock" on doors around here.
The manager is sending me an email with the latest results of this PROBLEM! Then I can expect 2 emails from Amazon. The First will confirm my refund, the second is in regards to the problem and if it was successfully closed to my satisfaction. I can't wait to get the second.
Prayers and good thoughts that this resolves this idiotic situation.
