I had hoped in MN to go back to collage, instead I ended up with getting education by creating from scratch a weeks long training class for employees in how to be staff for Developmentally Disabled clients.
I ended teaching classes up to 30 students for a week each month, plus I became a Red Cross Instructor of trainers for 30 homes. I used to have to go to each home. Sigh.... blizzards not with standing. Minnesotian (sp) do not let weather stop them from going or doing what they what...I had to act like one of them
I was also the employee Rep and worked the Insurance company and the financial advisor re 401ks, etc.
By then I had Diabetes, so 10 years later when Rick said come to TN, I went. And retired! Talk about exhausted.
I have so much experience...bookkeeper for a company that shipped Fender Base Guitars and Gibson Guiters.
Worked for BofA downtown LA in their tax dept. Also Wells Fargo Bank.
I worked for a company that sold electronics over seas.. and I was raped by an employee at the company.
This list is not in any order.
I was behind a bar as bartender,, for a while, 6 mos, and almost got raped by one of guys from IBM.
Other crappy jobs till I became receptionist at Iriple-i an RCA breakfast and my computer world embraced me. I worked in every dept.
Became employee instructor for first-ever voice mail. Worked in every dept, shipping, repair, customer support, insurance, ended up back up sec. for board of directors president, all managers and had a female boss who became a very good friend - she was one of the original employees when they broke off from RCA. My wedding had lots of employees attending.
I left when I moved to BOR.
