It's a shame that this would happen to book fanatics like we are. Darn.
Even the ones here I haven't seen for a while, and hope that some are okay.
I have a small, glass-fronted bookcase for the end of the dining room table, but can't really set it up until the batting and walls are in/up.
I also have planned the built-in in our bedroom, shelves in the 2nd bedroom, a case in the office, and my big bookcase along the living room/hall.
Cookbooks in the 'dining room', young people's books and animal story books in the 2nd bedroom, special books that I want in my room in there, everything else in the living room/hall one.
I lost some of my ID books :-( this past year, but I have been wondering if the rest that turn up should go on the far left of the living room one, or if I should make a place by the kitchen door for even easier access? They are my ID's on plants, mushrooms, birds, bugs, mammals, etc. etc. I had a pretty good collection. I still, hopefully, have half. Some were/are specialized, like beetles.
I hope that the books in Mn. are safe and come to you soon.
