We've had a huge hawk on our fence staring into our yard all this week. Boy, the other birds erupt in flight when he/she comes. They do the same when our two blue/scrub jays come.
It's been a bit cooler the last couple days, but very yellow, smokey air. Yesterday going to the mailbox, the sun was bright orange/red.
We didn't take the dogs for a walk yesterday and haven't today because the air is so bad. That doesn't keep Missy from dancing for her leash, though. Their harnesses fit like vests, but Missy wants to put her head through...I guess she gets that from her poncho coat she wears when it's too cold or rainy. LOL!
Mandatory vaccines are spreading across the state for public school children. Kara says that's the hill she dies on...she won't let Josh be vaccinated. She said she'll either pull him out for on line school again or send him to his grandpa in Idaho. She refuses for her family...and me...and she stays in contact with nurses who also fight the vaccine and medical journals that are raising red flags.
Your Henry is about the same age as Simon. Simon just got neutered and declawed. Fortunately Kara says it's the last time she ever has a cat declawed. I'm so glad...hers are all inside cats now that Bonkers passed and Erin took Carlos with her, but I still don't like declawing.
I had to crack up at Kohle, my granddaughter. Last year she wanted one of those lifelike reborn dolls. Ok, did that. This year she wanted a Honey-do utility cart. I have two that I use for my cake decorating but I have colored drawers in them. She wanted clear. She likes to be organized! LOL! She really cracks me up!
They have 4 small dogs and she (Kohle) wanted a cat for a long, long time. They got Basil. He's really pretty and gets along well with the dogs. I have to admit that my oldest son is a total pushover when it comes to Kohle! LOL!
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
