That's true. With Ds and I both having it, we have learned a lot about it over the years.
Momo's mom also had it, and so does her Dgd.
The big problem is that exposure, even if you don't get sick, can have deadly consequences.
That's why it's so aggravating to me when foods that we should be able to eat are off limits because the companies have cross contamination. That's really what shrinks the diet of people with it, or various food allergies.
I just read a statistic that 20% of Celiacs do not show symptoms, but have the same damage and possible deadly consequences from exposure.
