The fix did not work on his truck, but he found a way to get us a can...we generally fill several to go a week. He's going to work on it some more today, he said last night.
So, I'm okay for now, but it's going to come around again. I'm being super careful with it, and not even cooking. I will use enough to boil some pasta for dinner, but that's all until this is settled.
Ds agrees that we need the battery bank up here. I could use prayers that it's still working after a year on non-use, because it's way too expensive to replace.
If it works, though, and the guys - with their backs - can get it set up (I'll still need to buy wire and such.), I will use 1/2 the gas that I do now, or less (I could go much less, but the battery bank needs charging regularly.), and if there a problem with gas, that gives me time w/ electricity without the generators. It's what we've always done until now. I am not used to running a generator all the time. It's expensive, I need the gas way more often, and it's putting a lot of wear on the machines.
Thank you again.
