It's hard to believe that Dd is that old...I remember her as a little girl. But, they do grow up, don't they? Mine, too...more below.
I can believe that about Ds's grades. He's always been more than capable. As for deciding what to do, things have a way of finding people. Hopefully, his passion will come to him, and he can make it his life's work. It's wonderful when you do what you enjoy for a living.
I'm glad to hear that you and Dh are doing well.
I'm sorry to hear about Oreo...I remember when you got him.
I don't know how much of this is since we last spoke, but Ds got married a couple of years ago, and they have an 19 month old little girl who we all adore.
We lost several pets last year, including Tango the poodle. Before that, Jet. And, this summer, Tilde our dog of over 5 years. It was unexpected and sudden.
Since then we have adopted a German Shepherd mix pup from the pound named Krypto. He's a big boy, and 6 1/2 months old now.
We also have a new kitten named Henry. A few weeks ago he was found outside...which is the middle of nowhere, we have no idea how he got here...starving, and barely weaned. He was about 5 weeks old.
We are living in our not-quite-done new house since we were evacuated due to a fire last year. With us, besides the 2 critters above, are formerly feral cats:
Mamou - at least 11 - who is on Dh's chair currently.
Uhura - we aren't sure but only a little younger than Mamou (who is snuggled with me as I type.)
Tux - maybe 5 or 6
& the last 2 Kitty Kamper Kats that we rescued almost 12 years ago now, who weren't young then, so they are definitely seniors.
And, our hens.
I hope that you'll post again, and that you and yours have a wonderful, peaceful holiday season, as well!
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
