So, off I went to Thriftbooks and paid $6.38 including shipping & tax. The book was $4.69.
That's a good deal for me.
Yesterday I watch the first part of Bill Moyers conversations with Joseph Campbell.
He was a professor who studied comparative myths & compative religions.
Boy, am I glad I bought these Dvd's. It's a set of two. I also have 2 of his books. The Hero with a Thousand Faces and Goddesses.
I watched Moyer's entire PBS series with Campbell. I loved it then in 1988 and love it more now.
Dd & I are slowly making our way through Tucker's Countryside. Love these books and can get weepy over the challenges these little animals face. It is interesting how children are presented as well as the adults in the series.
I just sent Dd two Dr Who Dvds. Both are Christmas episodes. One with Matt Smith & one with David Tennant.
I have all Doctors but for missing some of the original Episodes and the first & current series of Jodi Whittaker's Doctor.
Oh well, I have time to get them all.
I am also puerusing all my foodie books & magazines. All my freezer bags of veggies will become soup tomorrow. I also have a head of cabbage which will be split between soup and fried cabbage. Plus a head of Cauliflower. I spent a couple of hours looking for good basic soup recipes. My mouth was watering the whole time. Roflol!
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
