I don't think people in government know what to do about all these natural problems. They have put money before safety.

I am so relieved that you have gas... though limited electricity. I really wish you had a bigger generator.

I have recently discovered - since I don't use my heaters unless I have to... that I had bought one of those felt like electric blankets for beds.

Mine died... so I took out the wiring, etc. and since I really dislike sheets, Put on top of my sheet. Oh dear - it reflects my body heat up to me. And that's without using a separate electric blanket that is under the sheet. That's cause I don't have a warm body to snuggle up to. 8-)

I don't count Charlie as a heat source, except for those times he crawls under his blanket and wala! Dog heat. LOLOL Especially when there is NO power here as in last Feb.'s recent freeze.

But I do recommend one of those "'felt'-like" REALLY SOFT TO THE TOUCH! Electric Blankets.
