Maybe he should keep a journal on his phone of his trip, everything, with photos that he can add later. After all, there's this, but then there's the rest after 5 days, and even the plane ride/airports. He can chronicle his food, animals, bugs, people, and anything interesting that happens from the 31st on. But, starting now.

Does he have games on his cell? I know, though, that you can only do so much of that, too.
