Happy 1st Day of the New Year!

Sometimes, as I'm getting ready to fall asleep, things come to me. I don't know why.

Well, last night, it was how much I enjoy listening to Louis Armstrong. I've heard him play all my life on records, the radio, and at Disneyland when we've gone, on the paddle wheel boat.

But, what really occured to me was that when someone asks who are some of my favorite musicians, I don't believe that I've ever said Louis Armstrong.

I realize that there are a zillion (at least!) great musicians across the various genres, and I like a lot of them, because music is kind of 'my thing.'

So, if someone asks me about guitarists, I have a list. Drummers, another list. Groups/bands...an even longer list.

Somehow though, no Louis Armstrong. But, he should be there.

Is there anyone that you really do enjoy listening to, even if you don't hear them all that often, that you forget to list when you think about your favorite musicians?

Oh, and by the way, what's for New Year's dinner? Once Krypto gets down the Krypto the dog flying thing, I can always send him over to your houses to pick up a take-out bag!
