The same thing happens here. If, at this time of year, it really warms up during the day, sure as heck it will be really cold that night.

I don't like deal with freezes, either, but am glad that you know how to prep.

I have one in storage now, but until I get flooring in, I don't want to bring it here. I love a good rocking chair! :-)

What I used to do, is put a very low night light, but put it at floor level, to see things at my feet. I've had, and still have, some very dark cats. You can't see the black ones, or the gray ones.

Currently, Uhura and Henry are black, like Soli, and Tux is black and white, but depending on how he's turned you may, or may not, see his white.
