Shades of MN. The first few days of below freezing are COLD.... and since i still have some residue frost bite - I end up wrapped to my nose in scarves, bulky coat, turtle neck, Sweatshirt, gloves, hat, tights, sweats, two pair of socks & suede wool lined boots.

I look like a walking snowman - without the snow.


I turned the well off at the power pole, drained the tank, emptied the water heater and turned it's breaker off. I can't turn anything back on till it's in the mid 30's.

But,,,tonight might be colder "23". I think I will just leave everything off. Tomorrow may drop to 31... if so, then I can leave the taps running, hopefully.

Thursday is the next drop into the 20's - 28 is the guess.

Hello 2022! the highest we will get over the next two weeks is "72" ? maybe!

Hope you all are able to stay warm. I pray you get some heat going. Been there done that in MN for a week - but a bit colder then NCalif. It was .. sub-sub-zero. Now that was an experience I don't want to do again!
