Edwina which is the feminine version of Edwin, my df's first name. My ds's middle name is Dee which was the middle name of my paternal gm. We never knew her as she died when my df was only 6. My younger dgd has the same name as my aunt, Isabelle. The funny thing is my dd didn't even realize the connection as we always called my aunt Auntie. I am not sure why, but just conjecture that the toddlers couldn't pronounce Aunt Isabelle. My cousin has a grandson named Marshall. Auntie and Uncle Marshall were married, so we have a repeat of the names. My older nephew was named after his df, and my younger nephew has my df's middle name. I loved the name Kendra when our older dd was born. When we chose it, we realized that my dfil's name was Kenneth, so we gave her my middle name so she would have both dgf's names. Our younger daughter was named after her df, Karleigh has his name in her name. We gave her the middle name of Noelle only to realize that dh's bil's middle name is Noel. Some time names are accidents, and sometimes, they are planned.
