and a couple of my cousins had, so I was connected to them through the web search...I was already in touch with them, but it was interesting to see that they had also done a search. My great, great Uncle Harvey had done research of the Kennedy side of the family back when I lived in Long Beach...I remember that, and someone on my grandma's side had also, I remember seeing one of them, but not the other and have no idea who ended up with the results. That's when we learned we were 16th cousins to JFK. Hey, I had a great, great, great aunt Annie...Annie Thompson!

It's been cold here, too. We had a couple warm days, but it's back to just cold. I have worked on trimming the lemon tree and picking lemons. I've shared with neighbors and Kara and Josh. I started making lemon curd and putting it in mason jars to store. My left arm is sore from trying to trim the tree and my right arm hurts from whisking. LOL!

No one had hears from Emily/Everett during Thanksgiving or Christmas. I texted, called and no one answered. Her other grandad and his wife came from Idaho and they were going to stop in Oregon to see her, but they couldnt get a hold of her. Yesterday I texted her number and asked if they were not Emily or Everett to please let me know that was not her/his number and asking if they knew of her/him. I got a text back hours later from Em saying she had been working non-stop and fighting Covid. She did get my Christmas gifts so that was good to know. She texted back but not my last text. But, at least I know that is her number and that she is still alive.
