Technically my phone is ruined. I dial someone and the call won't connect. I get cut off my text. Even emails are problematic. I am furious.
I also had to have the bank issue me a new debit card as when I began having googe trouble I was sent to what was claimed to be a google solution site. I got scammed. the only way to stop them from billing me was to get a new debit card. It will take a week at least for it to arrive. I can still use my current card and hopefully that company isn't going to bill me till next month.
I am furious with google. Now that Boy is back home he will take me to the bank to make some other changes t my account.... and then to T-mobil to try and get my phone software fixed. I am looking into a new phone on a service called MINT.
I am afraid I will lose all my photos, emails. SHeesh! This makes me so mad. I have ink so I hope to print out some of my photos so I can delete them. Plus I need to download my photos to a backup. I hate google!
I am enjoying playing all my CDs on my DVD players. I just want to buy a small CD player I can use when walking Charlie or getting the mail.
I had no idea till Boy told me that DVD players can play CDs.
Lately I have been rearranging things in the house. Trying to make more room. Finally ALL my plastic, cans and plastic recycling is gone.
I can cut up small boxes and put them in the large trash can provided by the Trash service. But I have waited for warmer weather in order to begin laying the large boxes on the Large tarp I have for the flat bed trailer. I need to cut those up so they fit. The first boxes to go were the ones under my large coffee table in the front room.
Next will be the small boxes in the library closet and around the house. They will go out weekly until they are all gone. The big boxes from Amazon, Chewy, Walmart, etc... I will only be able to do those on good weather days.
Oh to be living in a box free house. Yippie! There has been no curbside pickup for trash until last April. I think I might be box free by March first. Boy will have to take the trailer to a recycling location in SA. The one here has closed. Due to Covid.
I did a vet check with Charlies vet as he is due to have his annual appointment on April 7th. I have to budget for $150 for that one. Sheesh. He won't be there for more then 20 minutes and see the vet for maybe 5. What a rip off.
Ok here's the big news -- The kids are planning to move here in early 2023. They have a house in the Philippines. It's built and DDIL is living there till she can return to the states due to her positive antigen test.
I am not happy about this at all. They now have 4 small dogs. And that means they have to put up a wooden fence so Charlie can't see them. Charlie and I will lose a portion of our yard.
But there is a third of our yard that is part of the neighbors yard behind of back fence that we pay taxes on. The plan is to sell that to those neighbors. We can't access it and they are using it. So I want to get rid of it.
I need my items in storage from MN. DS has said they will get it But covid put the kibosh on that trip. That was three years ago. Plus I want the Texas storage gotten as well. Most will go to Goodwill or be trashed. The XDH hasn't paid his portion for 5 years. So he's lost any right to any of it.
It was announced today that this past december was the warmest since 1889. So far we are all worried that we will have a recurrence of the ice storm we had last February. This last stretch of 20 degree weather has finally killed back all the weeds, and grasses. My honeysuckle is still fine. Unreal. Usually the oaks lose their leaves but so far nothing.
All the birds are back. Bluejays, the song birds, Wrens, Doves, except for the small Inca doves. The blackheaded vultures are around. I still have a Crow or two that fly overhead cawing in the early morning and late afternoon. So far the Hawks have not been back.
Deer are here one or twice a week. There was a small pack of loose dogs that were around.
There was a bit of rain that froze on my Redtip branches. It didn't amount to much. I need to borrow Boys ladder and cut back the Redtips. They are 3 or 4 feet above the top of the roof.
The well I hope to replace in March. Buy a push mower in April. I'm going green. Hopefully I will be able to buy a hay bale and plant some veggies - my compost is good and that can be in the front yard where there is sunlight. And inside start growing sprouts.
I have lots of plans - I just hope I can actually do them. Well, time will tell. I am praying I can stay well to get all the above done. Before I run out of energy. 8-)
Oh I can only access the dog boards via my laptop. Oh well!!!
