Uhm, I didn't know that about DVD players, either! Not that I have a working DVD player at the moment, but hope to get one. Now I know, though!

I got a small CD player a while back for Ds. He didn't want to spend a lot, but wanted to play CD books and CD music while he walks for miles doing surveyor 'stuff.' It's usually in the middle of nowhere, and the walking from point A to point B part can be quite a distance.

So, he also needed something that was anti-skip, not too bulky to carry, etc.

I found one after reading about a zillion reviews. Sometimes they say that they don't skip, but the people who've bought it say otherwise.

The one that I found...I'm sorry that I don't remember much about it, not even brand...was not much larger than a CD itself. So, they are out there!

I know all of the reasons that you are not happy with the early 2023 date for them to move there, but...if you want a 'glass is half full' thought, I have one. Since they are going to be there anyway, unless something changes before then...at least Boy can feed the critters and exercise Charlie morning and night if you had to be in the hospital for a procedure or something. As long as he's there...

Our vets have gotten almost prohibitively expensive. I don't know what loving pet owners on a budget, especially seniors, are supposed to do. Vets here used to give senior discounts on things like vaccines, or have discount vaccine days, but the last one stopped doing that years ago.

I hope that you can get your storage unit things. Even if most is donated or trashed, it's yours to do so with, and you will probably find things that you'll be glad to have.

As long as Boy can pick up the bales, I think that it would be a good investment. Besides the joy of growing things, the bales will be less costly than it would be to buy the produce you will grow. And, of course, the quality will be premium! :-)

Do you think that you will run out of energy? You keep pretty active in warm weather. It's amazing what you do! :-)

Hopefully, once you get a new phone, you will be able to access anything that you want to. Argh!
