We had some very cold nights, and some more reasonable nights. But, many of the days were quite warm, between 80's and high 90's.
We're due for a small amount of rain between tomorrow and Monday, with none predicted after that.
One of the big things this week was making cat food. It made a lot.
I also made a good sized batch of fried rice - for the humans of the family! - hoping to freeze a couple of meals worth. So, between one and another, a lot of cooking went on this week.
I had a lot of computer problems this week, ugh!
On the coast here, someone caught a mountain lion on their security camera. He/she was on their porch. That was a good reminder to be careful, especially at night.
Then, 2 nights ago, Krypto barked at something. I had both Mamou and Uhura sleeping with me. Mind you, that leaves Tux, but what could he possibly do to cause Krypto to bark in a serious tone?
Speaking of cats...the Siamese, who Ds saw a couple of weeks ago down at the other house, has been up here 2ce this week. He was only a few feet from Dh, and rolled on his back and meowed at him. By the time Dh came in to get some food for him, and took it outside, he was gone.
I just don't know what his story is. Does he have a home, and he just visits? Is he on his own?
I know that he visits my cats. Whether they physically interact, or not, I don't know.
If he has a home, I am fine with the arrangement, though I wish that he'd not travel from home, of course.
But, if he's on his own, I'd like to have him accept meals. We'll see what happens, if anything.
We have new birds here, but I'm not sure yet what they are. They are probably visitors who will be gone soon. I'm working on IDing them.
Well, that's about all from this neck of the woods. I hope to get everything posted before having an internet problem.
How was your week?
