Its been healing and scabbed over nicely. Unfortunately while reading a book, my leg itched so I scratched it.

I went to get some water and when I stood up & looked down at my leg. I was shocked to see blood running down my leg. There was enough to drip on the floor.. Immediately I grabbed some papertowels and while holding them in place hobbled to the first aid kit.

Finally I managed to bandage my leg tightly. Raising my foot after cleaning up the mess. I called my son & I promised to call 911 if the bleeding didn't stop.

About an hr later I checked the bandage and found the bleeding had stopped and sealed up. The pressure I had applied worked.

I have to admit I was really glad I had been trained to be a Red Cross Instructor. Even so I was still very shocked.

Tomorrow I will go online to restock my FA kit. I haven't needed it since BOR. So there was a lot of supplies needing to be replaced.
Thankfully I had enough to apply pressure, etc. whew!
