Before we moved here, I'd never heard of, nor seen, a Junco. But, as soon as we got here I saw them. That was a couple of years pre-computer for me - 34 years ago - so we just dubbed them 'black caps.' Later on we learned what they are actually called. Either we got a bird ID book, or I got online, I don't remember which.

That's great that it tasted so good! I hope that mine come out as well. I used to make carrot cake all the time, but it's been a while.
