I actually fell asleep for 2 hours with an ice pack on my neck wrapped in a dish towel and tucked in a neck pillow. It was the best sleep I've had all week.
But even more exciting is the huge thunderstorm coming our way. It was north of us when I let Charlie out into the sunny day.
Boy what a surprise to hear that deep thundering in the towering thunderheads. Holy Moly! The sky to my north was dark, dark, dark, dark, with rain.
The scary thing is that lightening could start fires anywhere. Our neighborhood is a tinder box. All the leaves from the last two year of Fall. There are enough leaves in everyone's yard it wouldn't take much to set them alight. In fact all the BBQing usually done by the lake have been banned.
They are saying 1.5 inch hail.
