Was it a salad with lettuce? I know that lettuce didn't go well for you in the past.
Pasta salads are coming out for spring I noticed on cooking shows today. One had all raw vegetables for a primavera vibe.
Also, someone made both stuffed onions, and new potatoes.
The onions were cut in half, and scooped out. The insides were slowly cooked, as you would for French onion soup, and later mixed with raw sausage that was not encased - it looked like ground beef. I'm not sure what they mixed with the sausage-onion mix, but after having baked the 1/2 onions in a baking dish in the oven, they filled them with the sausage 'stuffing', they called it, added a little broth to the bottom of the dish, then baked it in the oven until cooked.
I used to get those mini-sweet peppers. I enjoyed using them!
