Since I only just settled on my houses internal look. It's been 6 years btw. I'm just settling into it.
Dds room is in work now, the library will be next after that.
The fiber installation actually forced me to rearrange my desk and the water heater room. Which is perfect now but was used for storage.
So I have to admit I tried to come up with some concepts. I'm drawing a blank. Lolol!
Here are a few things I have done in my house.
My bedroom was painted in a matt turquoise greenish tint with the rag rug look to the paint. All the ceilings at arched with fans
Big dark wood furniture my desk & zebra office chair a handmade narrow desk that extends into room behind bamboo TV shelf unit
An upholstered chair in one of 2 windows that are long and foot & a half off floor and ceiling. Bottom halves of windows have white lattice as windows are exposed to uphill neighbors porch
For the floor I picked black tiles with pale grayish yellow solar system swirls scattered on the small med & large tiles.
Curtains are green cotton shears tied back but an Indian print material of orange brown rust yellow pattern hangs underneath the shears. I tie the material in a ball knot if I want to let sun in.
The living room, kitchen & dining room are all white. I need to paint the kitchen wall white as well.
There is hardly and storage space. So I bought two huge Cedar Armoires. The are unpainted one creates an entry way by the front door and is for outdoor clothes only. There are 2 drawers for boots, scarves etc.
The other Armoire lines up with the kitchen bar counter. Unfortunately it holds my good or work clothes, shoes, etc.
I bought a dull orange indoor outdoor rug for under the Dark wood rectangle dining table that sits 8. I have the 2 leaves out as the dining room wall opposite the armoire has a counter and storage under with glass fronted shelves above.
But there were two installed cabinets the same golden wood similiar to the armoire attached to the wall that faced the kitchen. I removed from its location so the armoire could be a wall between living room & dining room
That shelf unit was moved near the dining room shelves.
The windows in living room & dining room and same hight as bedroom windows.
Lots of light.
The living room has three piece tufted upholstery in beige white. Very old fashion. Long high backed comfy furniture.
I need to redo the couch. The love seat is in front window facing drive and uphill
The chair is next to shelf unit by Chances Cast iron cage with a large dark wood mirror leaning against the wall between chances cage next to window facing downhill.
My rocker is upholstered I deep red velvet. Wood is black.
In center of living room a huge rectanglelar coffee table that could be sat on. There is another side table in warm brown but the coffee table large end table are both dark wood.
There is a second unit that holds curios.
The carpet tiles are plain grey. On the wall I placed a floral painting of pale yellow mums against a gray back ground 3 ft x just over 4
The living room walls are rag rug technique of a creamy sand.
