It was pleasant, but not hot this week. It was 70's most of the week, with no rain, though 80 yesterday. The nights have had freeze warnings most days. No rain.
I don't see rain for the next 10 days, either. They are saying more 70's during the day, and high 30's to 40's for lows.
We had planned a birthday party for Krypto today, or tomorrow if Ds was working, which he is, but I'm not sure now. A lot if things are going on, including Thyri having her first medical problem, which is a bacteria which got into her eye. She was in the ER, where they gave her a mix of 2 antibiotics.
If it's no better by today, they will give her IV antibiotics, because they want to hit this hard, they said, as it can cause all sorts of problems, from menengitis to brain problems.
So, we're having a birthday for the 3 of us, and I think that I'll send birthday muffins to Thyri and Frankie. I also have a party gift for each of them. Frankie's is a soft, 'Poptart' and Thyri's is a soft slice of 'pizza.'
I've had all sorts of problems with mail, television, etc. since last Friday. I got my new DVR in the mail, and need to spend the weekend deleting taped shows from the old DVR that can go, then backing up the rest to my back-up HD. Then, we need to hook up the new DVR, and load what we kept onto it. It's going to take a while.
I was bitten by a tick last Sunday. It really hurt. Then, earlier today, I found a very tiny deer tick walking on my computer. 
Well, better walking on that, than on me! They are attracted to computer screens. Dh had one walking on him a couple of days ago when he was outside weeding. Apparently, it's tick 'season' here, since the rain that we had last week. Have I mentioned, lately, that ticks...along with a couple of others, like fleas, are on my least favorite bug list? Blech!
The deer have divided their herd from 7 to three and 4. I think that it's because they must be birthing, or just about to.
We have polliwogs in our 'frog pond' again this year!
