Everything sounds wonderful! 
I had a pleasant, quiet day. Then, later on, Ds brought over a gift and card, which was a suncatcher. It's got light and dark blue glass 'gems', and the main part is an owl. The baby also 'signed' the card with a purple crayon. Too cute. I love things like that.
Dh was asking Ds on the phone about hanging it...by getting on a ladder!
I spoke to him on the phone later, and said, 'Remember the part about dad going on a ladder...' Before I could finish my sentence, which was to say, basically, not in this lifetime, he cut in and said, 'I told him no!!'
He continued, saying, 'Neither of you are allowed on ladders, Jade's not allowed on ladders, Thyri's not allowed on ladders, Jade's parents' aren't allowed on ladders...I guess that I'm the only one allowed on a ladder!' Lol!
He's right, though. Not one of the 4 of we parents should get on a ladder anymore, ddil has a very bad hip that was once broken in an accident, etc.
So, I guess that I'll decide which window to hang it in front of, and he'll hang it.
