My delivery is from 3pm to 5pm So I called and no one answered. SO I just got off the phone with the second rep who finally listened to me and my order will now be delived tomorrow.
Wednesday I downloaded the Schwans app to my cell. After talking to the second rep - the first kept saying I didn't have an order as I didn't follow procedure. I've been a customer for about a year now. Uh, what?
The 2nd rep and I finally figuered out that it was the app that would not connect with my account on my laptop. Luckily this rep offered to have my order delivered tomorrow afternoon.
It was a small order some breakfast items, chicken pot pies and some Mini ice cream bars- small ones.
After finally deleting the APP from my phone. My regular laptop account went back to normal.
Hurrah!!! She was much nicer then the first rep. Thank goodness as I really am desperate for that ice cream. Between the 100 degree afternoons and all the dog stuff.... I need it.
Okay back to the dog problems:
The kennel is now attached to the chainlink fence that runs next to the road. It runs along the chain link past the lattice to the house.
This section is one of two areas where the nbors "puppy" goes after Charlie when he is out. For the second area I have to buy tarps for the fence along the street side above the retaining wall. Just to keep that area of my yard no longer visible to the puppy. Good grief!
Luckily I have one of my horses "Babe" Lead ropes and use it on Charlie to play catch with him. I opted to let the lead drag on the ground as he was retrieving his ball and bringing it right back to me.
Charlie was so excited to be out back. He has been on his leash and Halter for almost three weeks. There have been two more incidents with the "puppy" going for Charlie in the front and back yard. I was banged up a bit both times since I refuse to let Charlie interact with the dog.
Plus my neighbors dog across the street downhill from the "Puppys owners house" went for that neighbors dog through a fence. My neighbors dog ended up with a badly torn paw pad and possible a broken bone. They took it to the vet and hopefully it will heal.
The puppys owner claims to be installing a run line in his yard. He says there was no reason for us to use the kennel as a fence to protect Charlie.
I can't believe he isn't considering that his "puppy" could be injured as well.
There is another multi dog issue which my Nbors - who's dog just died - have been feeding a number of dogs, supposedly along with other neighbors for the Owner- who is in the hospital. My Nbors are very frustrated as no one cleans the water bowls out and people are just tossing people-food leftovers into the yard. I hope she calls for a Wellness check on that house and the dogs. The dogs are loosing weight and they are very concerned but can't afford to be the only ones to feed the dogs. The dogs are no longer eating dog food, but only people fod leftovers like pizza, etc.
There are any number of local dog problems and Animal Control doesn't seem to be actively following up. One of "Pigs" owners walks on weekends and is now being harrassed by a couple of loose dogs. She is probably going to stop walking as she is becoming scared. Calling the Police is now the word.
What a mess. I still won't let Charlie in the uphill yard, even on the lead. Not until the "puppy" has his lead line. Which his owner claims maybe ready in a week or so and I should call him to make sure his dog is not out. WHAT???? He refuses to put in a fence.
Since Charlie has a line I could put him on it. But it's now my clothesline. It's runs between two big trees and has shade... it's a metal line and his chain slips along the line.
Unreal. Totally unreal.
