Onions and garlic, how nice!
As it gets closer to summer, I like to succession plant green onions. I literally plant a few, such as 6 or so, each week, so that I have just enough for the week. They will be growing at all stages at once, and you can pick the mature ones, replacing them with seeds.
I do that with a lot of vegetables in the summer, because the heat will send them to seed, so I pick them...say collards, when they are still young, and haven't run to seed yet. By planting just a couple each week, we have some every week without wasting them, and without them seeding on us.
It's that same thing with carrots. Plant a few per week, and pick the largest each week, but don't let them get all that large. True baby carrots!
The foods might do the trick! Supplements can cause gastro distress, so if you start one, and you get a problem, that would be the first culprit.
It's a good time to eat foods higher in those nutrients, though. Bananas are known for high potassium, but watermelon is even higher in it!
Maybe you can make banana based smoothies?
Enjoy, and good luck with it!
