Ds listens to audio books, and was telling me about one that he was listening to, suggesting that I try it. It's his first historical novel, and it's set in Victorian San Francisco. I told him that we read a series that takes place there, at the same time period, too.
I'll bet that you can guess where this is going! 
I asked him the name of his character, but it wasn't the same as mine. In the end, after ascertaining that his character ran a boarding house, and then that she made money on the side being a medium, and she had a husband that died...which is why she's on her own...we knew that it was the same series!
The reason that the character's name didn't match, is because he's reading a novella featuring the character's maid. Aha! I guess that we must be related!
As for us, we are still on the books about the family from England, now living in Greece, on the island of Corfu.
