But I had relocated the hummingbird feeders to the west of my chair. Which had me sitting below the bottom of the new flat feeder.
The golden light of the sun lit up the bottom of the feeder. A number of Hummers were arguing over who could drink there.
The sun was behind the Cedar trees and the Oaks in my neighbors yard. Very lovely golden light.
It was as I watch the light shine through the wind chimes, I heard a couple of Hummers chirping or arguing over access to the nectar in the flat feeder.
I glanced towards the feeder but could only see the clear bottom of container. The nectar was moving in an odd pattern.
I suddenly realized what was vibrating the nectar. There was a Hummingbird drinking.
Suddenly I hit Google for I wanted to know how did Hummers drink. I was amazed at the answer.
That they have a long tongue I knew but was astonished at where it went when not drinking.
If you want to know the answers check them on Google. Pretty amazing info.
