Do you have any old ashtrays, and if so, do you use them for anything?
When my dad stopped smoking, he has a fairly large glass ashtray. So, my parents kept it on the desk, filled with change.
My very favorite one has been in my family since I can remember. I was lucky to get it. It's glazed, and 3 dimensional. It's a pretty shape, and has 'acorns' on it's edge. They must have been applied second. It came from Yosemite way back when.
Even though my dad smoked back then, I don't think that this was ever used. And, when my house is complete, I would love to set it out as a decoration. It actually doesn't look like an ashtray.
There were the usual large glass ones, and small ones with names of places on them, but I don't believe that I have any of them.

Hopefully, I can get these posted, as I keep getting deadly blue screens today. Argh!
