What a pain that was.
I have small areas so Charlie & I can see out for safety.
I heave no problem with a darker bed room, library, dds room, or even the living room. Chance needs sunlight so I kept the edges of the window closest to me easy to expose and cover. I used a big white towel for that window.
I have to say this heat is scary. If it gets worse not sure what I can do if the boxes don't work. I've used foil but even industrial tape doesn't work.
I used to have those adjustable round curtain rods that extended or could be shortened.
They could hold the boxes in place but I'd want at least 2 rods per window.
Sorry, just trying to come up with workable ideas that are inexpensive but are sturdy.
A Deer was in the road. I had Charlie out on his leash. Thankfully I was a few steps from the back porch. I put an end to our walk and was able to urge him inside. Whew!
Well, everyone is fed: me & all the critters. Whoa! Charlie heard something outside & took off at a fast run from being asleep on my bed, where I'm resting.
Talk about SHOCK! I always check on what he is alerting on. That gets my blood going. Sheesh!
Well hope its nice where you are. The next few days will be not only hot, but the Sahara Dust will be overhead.
Be safe!
