Of rain.

I was expecting my ride to take me to the civic center - within walking distance.

Very friendly woman. We got along great. So if I need to fill my 5 gal jugs she will take me to town.

If I need to go to Walmart, etc... she will take me there. She will also take me to my fave Thrift shop so I can buy cheap paperbacks, quilting material, etc.

So when my ride came she drove me to the Civic Ctr where I thought to meet women in a Spelling Bee.

Imagine my surprise when it turned out to be a Tie Dye class. I hid my laughter. For during the 60s I tie dyed. I have to say their technique was new to me. But I was able add a few hints & suggestions.

So 2 hrs plus later I got home. I really like Martha. She's really nice and we appear to get along great.

So I can get to stores, out to lunch etc. YEAH! I'm no longer house bound.

I have to mention Charlie went bizark when I got home. I think he missed me.

Well Dds on the phone, gotta go.

Quite a lovely afternoon, except the dog across the street is running free and I have to keep Charlie in more.

Well maybe things will change.
