I've had 6 or 7 hummers, too...and it's very distinctive with those that are used to my voice and the ones that aren't sure yet! I dont know if they are all the same family, but there seem to be two or three that are a bit larger and 5 or so that are tinier.
I like vanilla that really tastes vanillay. Yum! I'm working on a lemon cake with blueberry filling. I'm having to use frozen blueberries and cooked them into a thick jammy consistency because I had that warning on the freeze dried ones I got the warning about not using. I worked on the buttercream roses yesterday. They are supposed to be purple and blue...but they are way too close i color. I bought the buttercream already colored and am disappointed in the colors.
Chelsea watches TV, but not as much as when she was younger. I put on Dr. Pol now and then. Top Dog doesn;t seem to be on now, and she really liked that show.
I don't know if we had sprinkles one day or not. I hadn't covered the BBQ last time I used it and I noticed the dust that had gathered on it looked like it had been sprinkled on. It was a tiny bit cooler a couple days, but we're back to higher triple digits now and I have so much yardwork I need to do but it's just too hot!
Tommorrow we are doing Kara's b-day dinner....Erin is coming Monday or Tuesday and on Kara's b-day the three of us will go to lunch. I just found out yesterday that we can't do our family dinner next Saturday because Curt and Becky are taking Carter next weekend to Montana to get him settled for school. I hope he and Branton will be able to be home for Christmases!!! So now I have all this stuff that I am going to have to freeze. I bought some french bread and garlic french bread that aren't cut. I hope they will freeze ok. I also got some gluten free baggettes and am pretty sure they will freeze ok.
For tomorrow I am going to use one of the gluten free and part of the garlic (or maybe all of it and send leftovers with Kara). It was much less to get the fresh bakery breads than the frozen Texas toast garlic bread...and it doesn't have gluten free. (Yet...I imagine it's only a matter of time). I got two kinds of squash (summer and zuccinni), multi colored small peppers, mushrooms, and onion to grill, twice baked potatoes, steaks and corn on the cob to do for dinner. I'm going to do the steaks in the water vac machine and finish them on the grill. So most of it will be done on the grill. And, of course, the birthday cake. I have strawberries and melons I was going to do saturday and now am worried that I need to do them. I was going to do those waffle bowls for individual strawberry deserts and am worried about those strawberries. Can I freeze fresh strawberries and have them be as good as fresh? Anyway, there's so much fresh fruit and veggies in both refrigerators that I don't have room for Kara's cake when I make it!
