Thank you, I'll remember that about Amazon.
Yes, the use of mailing envelopes is annoying, because of how the contents get mangled.
I had a seller send me jars of jam in an unpadded envelope once. They came broken, of course. And, when I 'resolved' it with them, and they replaced them, they put them in the same type of bag, with the same results.
That's entirely possible. They have a lot of people on that fire now. He could be with a crew very easily. What a wonderful job they do. Not one that I could ever have done.
I'm so sorry about your itching. Itching is the worst! And, as my father used to say to people, itching is a low grade pain, so it's not 'nothing.'
Have you tried old fashioned calamine lotion? I react horribly to bugs like mosquitos, and when I'm bitten, one bite lasts for a couple of weeks. I get bottles of store brand Calamine liquid...the pink chalky stuff, shake it well, and apply some, letting it dry on my skin. At that point, I don't care if I'm pink!
At first, it may take 3 or 4 applications a day, but it's always worked for me, and it will dry out bumps and such. If it's something internal, though, that might be different.
I don't have the heart for it anymore. I feel so bad leaving animals that give me sweet/sad looks. I don't know how I did it all the years that we did when we worked rescue.
As for the shelter not being clean, perhaps that should be reported somewhere? All the ones that we went to were clean, and it's only right that it is, for the animals' sake.
Have a great week, and hopefully with some good weather.
Love All Life; Thank You For Posting! :)
