They are not the same these days, but the principle is the same.
Yes, those sound like our temps. this week. We did not ever have a temp. this hot until 2020. The highest was 115, maybe 2ce, and more usually a very hot day, once a year, was 105. This is a big change here.
80's and 90's sounds great about now!
Thank you! Thankfully, they have an AC unit, and trees around their house.
I know that people don't like them, but I am an AC kid, and I really like air conditioned homes and buildings.
Growing up, I had an AC in my room from 6 years old on. It wasn't as common then, but we had a nearly all-electric house of the future. 2 came with the house. 1 on the living room, one in my bedroom. So, if it got really hot, I could be comfortable and safe, since the heat stroke that caused me to be unable to regulate my body temperature correctly happened when I was 2.
We were talking last night about heat, and how it used to be like going out into an oven at night in Nevada.
And, how AC units in Palm Springs weren't enough to make people comfortable in hotels/motels. How we, and everyone else, would be out in the hotel pool at 1 A.M., just to cool off. It was over 100 at 1 A.M. Sheesh!
